The Wild Adventures of Happy Pants & Crazy Straw...

There are some things in life that you just can't forget...Nor do you ever want to.
This weekend I am going to talk about.. is one of those times.

Let's go back when this all started. My boyfriend at the time had told me about this girl named Kimber, well I thought her real name was that for the longest time, come to find out her name is actually Brittany.
For awhile I didn't know who she was or why she was spending so much time with my man.
Well after finally meeting her I knew instantly that we would be best friends.
We would talk forever about nothing but it really was everything at the time.
After talking for a little she proposed the idea of her coming to meet me.
I laughed at the thought of her coming here from San Jose and figured it would never happen.
But like a week later, here we were on the phone planning her 11 hour drive to my house!
Unbelievable right!? wrong!
So the day of the trip there was many calls made to me because she was so bored that she had to call and see what I was doing... Well I was just counting down the hours until she got there.
Finally, I got one last call and all I heard was, "I'm here" and I went dashing outside in muh bare feet and ran to hug her. Only problem is I underestimated the size of her vehicle and I couldn't see her at first since I am so small, but as soon as the door closed and she emerged from behind it.. I pounced.
She even surprised me with a stuffed lamb whom I named Mootley.
He is pretty cool and for a lot of the weekend I was playing with his hair... I also took him to the store with me in my purse. I got lots of weird looks but I didn't really care.
The was probably the best weekend ever!
My room was transformed into our "No Boys Allowed Fort", since we didn't actually make one with sheets!
We had a blast eating loads of healthy.. well not so healthy Mac & Cheese.. After an amazing late night shopping spree where we also went to a sex shop. Good times. Or more like..awkward times as well.
When the day was ending or more like Saturday was starting we were happily on our computers and skyping to our boyfriends at the time. It was awesome to just leave the room and come back and pile drive her since she was sleeping on the floor.
We had a big day planned for Saturday so when we finally went to sleep we awoke the next morning excited, well it was a little later then we intended to get up but all the same we got up and got ready to travel into the heart of Portland to go to the Saturday Market. We decided to take the Max Train there and that was one of the best decisions we made because not only did we get off at the wrong spot we got to witness some drunk ladies screaming at there friends on the way back home.. Come to find out later that the Portland Beer Festival was going on.. and that explains.. A LOT.
At the Saturday Market we ended up taking loads of pictures and got friendship bracelets! We ended up seeing a man dressed as a green cat and sifting through the garbage... Yeah we were grossed out but I had to take a picture.. And so I did. Without looking. It was AWESOME.
Anyway we were rushed back in fear that my boyfriend was angry that I wasn't home talking to him. He was such a sad panda that day. :(
Upon getting home there was a lot more laughter, talking, and just being the silly Happy Pants and Crazy Straw. Our nicknames are rad.. don't diss.
When Sunday came around I was throughly sad. I didn't want her leave but I knew she had too.
We remain bestest friends even though she lives even farther away now but I don't care.
So bestest you are the coolest and most amazing friend anyone could have! =D

Here are some things only me and her will get-
She's the man commentary. Jodddiieee. Battery Testing. Pile Drives. MmmKimber. Mac & Cheese. Practicing AOs. Skype Calls. Sad Panda. Cock n' Balls. Green Faced Catman. Pouty Face Pictures. Family, Teething, And Some People Watching...

So I have found that I have the worst worst worst lack of commitment.
This blog is proof of it.
I usually start something and then I give it up.
I have been meaning to blog for some time now but for some reason I always say, "Eh I will do it tomorrow" and then tomorrow never comes and it's today again.
So here I am blogging about some things that have been on my mind lately.

First things first I want to say Happy Easter to everyone.
I had a lovely weekend with Ryan and Shawn and Heather and Bonnie.
It is always nice when family members gather around our dinner table, eat a good meal and have some good conversation like, Are you supposed to say African American or Colored people.
Yeah that conversation happened.
Going out to see my grandpa for coffee was fun as well.
He is recovering nicely from his open heart surgery so it was nice to see him up and out.
He is officially addicted to iced coffee now. Yay. Another Starbucks lover.
Over the weekend I also had the opportunity of going to see my twin cousins play some little league baseball. The sun being out just made the day a little better and getting to see my family on my dads side is really fun.
I was really impressed by the baseball skills, I thought I would still be watching a boring game full of walks but there were some decent hits in there!
Also a friend of ours was there with her one month old baby and I got to hold her for most of the game, now when women get a baby in their hands it's hard for us not to get all baby crazy and this little glimmer in our eyes thinking of future kids, or so thats what Phil saw in my eyes. Just until Briana started to cry, then it was hand her back over and sit back down. :)
Upon sitting back down I got to hear my father and papa just joking around and laughing with each other and this makes me so happy. I love my nana and papa and the fact that I got to spend some quality time with them was awesome.

So I have fallen into this new trend/craze of putting feathers in your hair...
I am completely obsessed and I love the way they look. I went out today to get some more.
Let's just say it took me about 10 minutes to choose the exact ones that I wanted. Phil had to walk away, he has nothing to say for my recent feather shenanigans.
After the feather run we were offered to go and see a movie with our friends so we gladly accepted. We watched Hop.. On Easter.. I found that both funny and ironic. It was a great movie, good storyline and cute characters as per usual. It made me laugh and hearing Russel Brand's accent throughout the whole thing was just a bonus. ;)

Okay another issue I am dealing with at the moment is that my wisdom teeth have finally decided to make an appearance after 20 years they go.. Oh let's finally break through the gums! And now I am left feeling like a big baby who is teething. I have been chewing gum constantly for the past few days and you can't imagine how good it feels to chew it. I have never felt gum was so amazing in my entire life. Phil has offered his finger for me to chew on, and I just have to roll my eyes to that because he is now using this to tease me. Thanks Phil. <3

Recently I have been getting more hours at work and I just have to put out there that if people watching were a job I would be the BOSS of it. Sometimes our work is really dead so there are moments where I get to stand at the front and just look out at all the people. I LOVE this. It is kinda horrible how much I like it. I love to look at all the couples and try to think of a back story for them. And then there are the people that I look out and go WHOA... what in the world... Okay...Green hair? not the best... Wow.. those pants ..little scary!
You know what I mean!? Hopefully.
I feel bad but then again it passes the time away.

Alright so that is it for now.. I have to go and get some more gum because my teeth are really bugging me. So until I blog again I will see ya later!
:D

A survey a day keeps boredom away...

Thought I would do this new idea where I do a survey a day. I am actually really excited about this because I feel like once I answer some questions... Some better blogs can come from it.
It's an ABC survey with about 3 questions per letter. Enjoy...
